Yogi replaced BooBoo with the Silver Surfer? Good move on his part with Surfer's Power Cosmic he is sure to get picnic baskets. Sort of makes the Silver Surfer Yogi's "Herald" lol.

I have great memories of those old Yogi Bear cartoons. Great part of my childhood. Walk home for lunch, soup and sammich and some great cartoons then back to school. Good times.

yep, the figure is OK, but the character is a bit hateful for me, he’s a cheater/eater, silly & cynical but without an attractive personality, The Flintstones r by far better in the Hanna Barbera portfolio... after my sudden attack of anger, i must say that my delight was that lil’ dark green diecast in the bottom right, so i’d like to know a bit more bout it =O

Why was this okay?... You got some splainin' to do.

Splanin' huh? Well this was a pre production sample and it was signed off on by someone at Warner Bros. (Home of Hanna-Barbera) it lived in the office of the lady that hired me for my first toy job and upon her leaving the company she gave it to me. The date scribbled on the side was 14 years ago. It is a vinyl, roto cast bank we had produced for gift centers and those school programs were kids sell stuff stuff to raise money for equipment, books, etc for their school.

In reference to the little dark green die cast, I may shoot some hi res images of it, but in the mean time it was another version of this...

The old Yogi cartoons were also a favorite of mine, along with the original Scooby-Doo and the Bulwinkle cartoons. If anyone is interested I might be able to dig up some work I did on a Yogi project, not animation, but a product... a very large product.

Please tell me it was a Yogi action figure that included the 'gwabba gwabba kitty kitty kitty kitty' kid with his playpen...and the mountain lion.
