Rebuilding the Falcon

The one on your left is my 1995 POTF2 Falcon, the one on the right is my original Falcon from around the time Empire Strikes Back was in theaters. I remember the day I picked this up with my mom, but that is a story for another day... or blog. This is about rebuilding my old childhood Falcon, as I get more and more into it I plan on posting images of what I have and what I have done, this may take a long time, but that is okay just be warned that every once in a while it will pop up here on the blog.

Sweet!!! I can't wait to see your progress. I'm sure you'll be making the Kessel Run again in no time!

Do you need any hydro-spanners? Fixer's got a ton of them in the back..

When I was a kid my dad sometimes had to work away from home and he'd always bring us back something when he returned.

One time my sister, brother and mother all got awesome gifts and I got a Ben Kenobi. That was until I started looking sad about it and they revealed he'd also got me the Millennium Falcon...

@ lok - What a great story!

@ chrismandesign - No this is the kenner toy for the 3-3/4" Action figures. I do have a Falcon model I built a long time ago when I think it was produced by MPC, it was a fun kit to build if it's the same mold, I have thought about picking up a new one and trying to do a better job at it.

@ Brian A - Ha great reference! Chewy get me the hydro spanners! Wait that wasn't a asteroid... How obscure is the Fixer part, I wonder how many people know who he is?

@ Reis and Bubba - It should be a fun ride, I did miss out on a ton of parts during that February Toy Vacation.

Sounds like a fun project! Would it help if you got out and pushed?

Since this is not a model kit, it would be interesting to see how you restore the lost or damage pieces. Way to go bro!
