Dc Direct Superman from Darwyn Cooke's DC: New Frontier. One of my favorite versions of the character. Dc Direct really did a fine job capturing the style of the comic.
While I do have several Superman items in the collection, I am not as big of fan as some. Superman in some media comes off as too perfect to me, that said when the first Superman movie came out starring Christopher Reeve back in the day, I thought that was the best, and still is, representation of the character! Also I like Mr. Cooke's take on the character. To me Superman has always stood for what man should strive to achieve, Batman is what man has to be. It's that idea that I like about Superman.

the NF figures are great likenesses of Cooke's art, tho Supes looks like he has a massive headache.
