I never had this figure as a vintage Joe originally, but man do I like the color orange and dig that crazy helmet! My one question is why Barbecue? Wouldn't that be a more appropriate code name for a GI Joe that has a flame thrower, like "I'm going to BBQ your ass Cobra!" so his code name would be Barbecue. Or maybe a GI Joe cook that cooks all his meals on a charcoal pit he carries around on his back, that would make sense, right?
Well forget the name for a second, it's cool that this guy is part of the rescue end of GI Joe, though the handle on that axe looks a little dangerous, still speaks more of Adventure Team than Real American Hero. While we are talking about Adventure Team, I heard it might be a possibility that they will make an appearance in this 3 3/4" scale. Remember I called it here!
This Joe is a natural for those PSA's at the end of the old cartoon... come to think of it...
