Spockcation Year Two!

Yesterday marked the one year anniversary of Spockcation. Wow! One year, I didn't think it would take more than a year.

While Spock is currently traveling from Minnesota to his first stop in Illinois (I have lost communication with him, but am confident that he is still okay) I thought it was about time for a Spockcation Travel Facts post.

Here's some Spockcation Travel facts till he reports in:

Spock has completed 15 stops since he started on April 14th of 2009. That's only five more since the last travel facts update.

Spock has visited 11 states and Canada.

Spock has actually made his way into Canada with two different hosts.

Spock has had multiple stops in the following states so far: Florida and California. He has a multiple stop coming up in Illinois.

Spock has logged an estimated 18,957.9 travel miles.

Spock's longest distance he has traveled is still estimated 3316 miles from Boca Raton, FL to Seattle, WA.

Spock's shortest distance he has traveled was estimated 11 miles in California.

Spock has been traveling for 1 year and 1 day, more precisely 366 days.

Spock has 18 more stops in his trip, he's almost half way through.

Spock's estimated return to his home state is November 2010... I hope, I would like to see him sooner if possible.

Spock should have took his communicator so he could call for transports to all his stops.

So, Spock is still out there be patient and remember if you are hosting him try to keep his time with you at one week. As Spock would say the needs of the many out way the needs of the few, or the one.

See you hopefully soon with more Spockcation, Live long and Prosper.

How long will Spock continue to travel? And when does he plan on coming home if ever?

@jboypacman - I planned on Spock traveling about a year, but I really had no clue when I set this up it would last as long as it has. Spock has about 31 scheduled stops and is traveling the U.S. to celebrate the 2009 Star Trek Movie.

I hope he makes it back this year and best I can tell sometime in November 2010 will be when I see him again.
