Well, the prizes are starting to roll in. Part of the agreement was the loser was to draw the winner an original Batman piece of fine artwork suitable for framing declaring the victor the king of Batman figures... as well as send a Batman from their collection.
This, my friends, is the totally awesome piece of Bat Art that Reis has just sent over my way and I am freaking out. How cool is this that not only am I getting Batman, but the Bat Family and some of his more notorious villains! This is so awesome it totally trumps the post I was going to post today. The bonus is I am also getting a high resolution version I can have printed and framed for my freaking office!
So, Reis you are indeed a good sport and an all around great bloggie friend, I tip my cowl to you, and you dear reader if you haven't already done so, go now to Reis' art blog or toy blog and follow this magnificent nerdy bastard! I say this in the upmost respect... notice I didn't use the word Geek!

Aaahhh- that is The Bomb! Killer job, Reis...
Thanks Super-Duper!
Glad you like it, Chunky B! It was a lot of fun to make and I think I'm going to explore this style over on my art blog and maybe do a series of characters.
Anyway, enjoy your spoils!
That is one awesome piece of artwork!!! Congrats on your winnings Chunky, and great job on the Bat-art Reis!
Nice win!
Badass!
Reis, i would like to see more of that!
That's awesome, Reis!! Both of you guys are very talented. Great stuff!!
What is it with artists (of our generation) and toys? Just about every artist I know (myself included) has toys around their drawing desks.
Reis, I'm guessing you have toys around your art area as well as the Nerdatorium. I know Chunky B does.
Just to awesome! Congrats on the victory spoils.
Thanks for the kind words, everyone! :)
Brian - I think it has something to do with our natural attraction to visual aesthetics combined with an unquenchable thirst for sparking our imaginations.
Since I'm actually employed as a toy designer (along with t-shirt graphics), you can bet my art area is surrounded by toys! In a couple of weeks, I'll be starting to work from home full time here in the Nerdatorium, so I'm pretty stoked about that.
^..^
It looks like Batmite is holding his hand up and apologizing for the artist being such a jerk. So good, I am finally glad the "artist" was able to express his profound regret through this piece. I'll take it since the dork in the mexican mask can't seem to do so. No sense in posting one of your "witty" responses R. You apologized for being rude subliminally through this "art". Caution to you readers out there though. If you do something which R doesn't like, he'll shoot you a nasty messege all the while pretending to be a good guy in his blogs. Just feel there had to be a warning so no more hurt feelings by this guy are caused.
Well I am glad Reis is doing those videoblogs again. I get to throw the middle finger right in his stupid face everytime I watch one. It's quite the delight!
